I am pretty close to average height at 5'4", but I have pretty short legs compared to my long torso. Here are some of the tips that I have learned to help my legs look longer and better match my upper half. :)
Step 1: Cuff It
The first step I follow is to cuff my jeans until they are about 1" above my ankle bone or the top of my shoe if I am wearing booties or anything with an ankle strap. You can roll them once or twice depending on the length of your jeans.
Step 2: Heel It
You can pick any type of heel you like, but this step really makes the biggest difference of all because it will elongate your legs (this is also a great why to get some "hidden height" when wearing bootcut or flared jeans).
Step 3: Tuck It
Try a half-tuck or full-tuck to show off more of your jeans. This will draw up your waistline which will instantly make your legs look longer.
Step 4: Belt It
This step is completely optional, but I like it because it draws the eye up to your waist instead of looking towards the middle part of your jeans.
Such a great post! I am 5'2" and have ridiculously short legs. I shy away from wearing jeans for that reason. This is giving me great ideas to make myself look better in jeans.
